‘He is so astute but reserved’: Priyanka Chopra sheds light on ‘quiet’ Matrix Resurrections co-star Keanu Reeves adding he was ‘incredibly encouraging’ on set

Priyanka Chopra was seen in all green outfit in New York City on Thursday morning.

The actress, 39, was leaving Good Morning America studio where she talked about her Matrix Resurrections co-star Keanu Reeves.  

The wife of Nick Jonas shared that the actor was ‘so astute and aware of the room even though he’s very quiet and reserved.’ She then added he speaks up when it is need: ‘When it’s important, he sets the tone.’

Chopra also noted that both Reeves and his costar, Carrie-Anne Moss served as guides for the feature’s newer cast members during filming.

She remarked that ‘both of them were just so incredibly encouraging to this whole lot of new kids on the block that joined The Matrix.’

The performer also revealed that she would take either the red pill or blue pills featured in the franchise depending on the time of year. 

‘I’m usually a red pill girl…but I’m at the end of the year and I’m tired. I’m going to take some ignorance, will be some bliss, and go into the holidays with a blue pill,’ she said.

She also said talked about the effects that the original Matrix film had on her upon its release in 1999.

‘I watched it in the theater with my friends. I remember wearing a lot of black, I remember losing my smile for a while,’ she recalled.

Chopra also expressed that the film ‘shifted culture’ and made viewers ‘stretch your imagination and made you expect more from cinema.’  

Chopra will portray Sati, a program that was created without a purpose, in the forthcoming feature.

The role was previously filled by Tanveer K. Atwal in 2003’s The Matrix Revolutions.

The actress was first rumored to have been in talks to join the cast of the project last January, and she was confirmed to appear in the future the following month. 

Filming took place over much of last year before the project’s cast and crew wrapped last November. 

The Matrix Resurrections is currently set to have a wide release on December 22.

She looked stunning in her green outfit on Thursday.
