Here’s When Fans Started Noticing Bella Hadid’s Changing Face
Bella has not confirmed that she's had any plastic surgery but experts aren't so sure.

Back when Yolanda Hadid was a cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, fans got used to watching her daughters Gigi and Bella Hadid. Of course, in the years since Yolanda quit the reality series, her daughters have become supermodels who everyone talks about all the time. Bella and The Weeknd’s relationship pushed Bella into the spotlight even more, and it’s impossible not to want to know about the juicy personal lives of these famous sisters.
It’s amazing seeing photos of young stars as they get older and their faces sometimes look extremely different. This leads to rumors of plastic surgery procedures and people often talk about whether Bella Hadid has done anything to her face. Even though nothing is confirmed, some fans think that she has definitely done something. Keep reading to find out when fans started noticing Bella Hadid’s changing face.
Did Bella Hadid Get Her Eyebrows Lifted?
Just like fans wondered if Gigi Hadid had plastic surgery, fans say the same thing about her sister Bella. Since both sisters look different than they did when they were younger, it’s no wonder that there is so much discussion about this. It’s fair to say that both of their faces look much different than they used to.
Has Bella Hadid gotten any plastic surgery work done? According to The Daily Mail, Dr. Sabrina Shah-Desai thinks that she has and in their opinion, Bella got “dermal fillers,” lip fillers, a nose job, and “Bella looks like she has had a brow lift.”
It turns out that many people think that if Bella Hadid has gotten any plastic surgery, it was to lift her eyebrows up. And it’s possible that she had a “Botox brow lift” which didn’t involve surgery at all.
When explaining how brow lifts work, Vox.com reported that many celebs like having a “Botox brow lift.” Dr. Dara Liotta explained that the process would be less than a minute long and since it’s not surgical, people are interested in it. It’s possible that this is what Bella has gotten done, although she has not confirmed it.
According to The SkinCare Edit, it seems like 2014 was the year when fans could really notice Bella Hadid’s changing face.
Founder/editor of The SkinCare Edit Michelle Villett explained how Bella seemed to have a nose job around this time. She had a “bump on the bridge of her nose” and it was gone. By 2016, Bella had a much thinner face, and in 2019, her eyebrows seemed “lifted.”
It turns out that Bella Hadid influenced others to get brow lifts. Sarmela Sunder, a board-certified facial plastic surgery in Beverly Hills, explained to Allure, “the most popular variation [of the procedure] is a lateral brow lift, or what I call a cat-eye brow lift, where I elevate the lateral third of the eyebrows, or the tails. Second to that is more of an overall brow lift — raising the eyebrows from the arch out to the tail — and that creates a peaked look more in line with that of Kylie Jenner or Gigi Hadid.”
Dr. Catherine S. Chang told Byrdie, “Nowadays, brow lifts are being performed on younger patients simply to accentuate the eye area.”
Bella Hadid Lost Some Weight
Bella Hadid’s changing face might also be because she has dropped some pounds.
Bella told People back in 2016 that she had dropped more than she wanted to and she wasn’t comfortable with her low weight. She said that she worked out super hard and was careful with what she was eating. Bella explained, “I worked out so hard and everybody is like, ‘Oh, she looks so skinny blah, blah, blah.’ But I think that if you just stick to something you can really achieve so much. I’ve been eating hard protein every day, and working out for three hours every day. It’s crazy but I think that you know if you set your mind to something I think you can succeed.”
Bella also said that she missed the way that her body looked before and added, “But it’s not my fault. My weight fluctuates and so does everybody’s and I think that if people are gonna judge, that’s the worst you can possibly do because everybody is different.”
The cast of Bravo’s Real Housewives get a lot of plastic surgery work done, and when Yolanda Hadid turned 55 in 2019, she said that she was finished with Botox and anything else that wasn’t natural. She decided that fillers and Botox were a bad idea since she had struggled with Lyme Disease.
